All past ten November Warmwell (all available lodges) sold out, with some events sold out in 11 months, so that's one month before the event started.
Many disappointed, don't let this happen to you. 700 + dancers are expected again. Read all about Warmwell Here By clicking on the above word "here" this will show you the options you can still book and prices. You are booking for three nights in Warmwell lodges. There are NO day or nights passes and never have been. Local residents who can prove they live with Utility bills at an address within ten mile radius of the venue. They can buy a Three Day Weekender pass excludes staying over night at the Park. Very Limited numbers. YOUR PRICES INCLUDES: * Three Nights Accommodation (excludes three day local residents passes- live within 10 miles of site) * All Electricity & Gas * Free parking providing you register for car permits. * All Workshops you wish to join (2 held on Friday night, then all day Saturday & Sunday in two halls plus further workshop in 3rd hall plus our annual Sunday Pool Party) * All Freestyles - Three nights and lunchtime/afternoon freestyles * Towels & Bedding - A small selection Towels but all Bedding in Lodge (based on numbers booked in each lodge) * The Warmwell Experience - like no other * Priority Options to re-book same lodges/places when at the 2020 event for Warmwell 2021. Two friends can share a Twin room in Stranger Lodges, but they must be the same sex. We never put strangers in the same bedroom. Your booking confirmation will remind you what room you have booked. You cannot take someone's else's room they have paid for when you arrive at Warmwell 2020, it is not on a 1st come basis like many other dance weekenders. One person in Large Room for one (could be a large twin for one or double room. Always subject to availability) (if you book the Prestige Lodge Double rooms {sta}, it has en suite) Two persons in Large Twin Room (who know each other - we never place strangers together in same bedroom that happens at other weekenders) One person in Smaller Twin Room (sole use for one person) Couple Lodges (Male/Female combination) One bedroom One Twin Room - Bronze only All other lodges will have two rooms, one room as double, the other as twin room, you chose which room you sleep in. Warmwell (run by Parkdean Resorts Holiday Parks) is in the heart of Dorset, close to Weymouth and Dorchester. Our prices include all workshops and dances over three nights/two days. This is self catering so you have the choice of your lodge kitchens or eating in the venues restaurant. On Saturday night we have "Dance with a stranger competition" and Sunday's famous "Any Thing Goes" Fancy Dress where it seems 85% dress up, always an amazing night! We have three interconnecting dance halls. Main Hall- Mainly Modern Jive Blue Hall - Smooth, West Coast, Blues Busters Hall- Alternative music sessions including Latin, Ballroom, Tango, Rock N Roll, Rockin Blues, Blues, and Old School. Enjoy workshops and dances with top teachers and djs. There were 31 workshops (big range of styles) on offer in 2019. There was three nights and three afternoons of freestyle. Nearby is the historic county town of Dorchester and other towns and villages of interest. The South West Coast Path which starts at Poole harbour, carries on for 130 miles along the Jurassic Coast, through Devon and Cornwall, finishing at Minehead in Somerset. Parkdean Holiday Parks were awarded Gold "Best UK Holiday Park Operator for 2017" (in addition to winning in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017: while 2nd in 2012. We have a gender balance ratio
and we need ladies who want to book in all female parties to fully appreciate you need dance partners, so you too need to encourage the men to book!
Single Ladies or two females friends (sharing a twin) who get rooms in Stranger Shared Lodges, do not need to Gender Balance. There are no female Group "Stranger" Lodges, as these are available only to non groups.
MEN NOW NEEDED FOR GENDER BALANCING
Because of gender balance ratios, we need you to book with men your booking is linked to men booking although you are in different lodges (or make up a group and share same lodge),
as we need to improve our gender balance ratio %.
Our Gender Balance ratio targets have always been and achieved each year:
47-48% men to 52-53% women.
In 2019 it was 47.4% men to 52.6% females
Men tend to book late, hence the situation! But many missed out in 2017/2018/2019 because they tried to book too late!!
