Warmwell 2022 FeedbackWell just got back from MJRoc Warmwell -Verdict? No.1 is the accommodation, heated ready - Lodges better kitted out than my flat - even a dishwasher! as well as a full-sized freezer, in addition to the fridge also a heated towel rail and power shower. Beds made up ready and a complimentary box of shortbread -but a good £70 more expensive than other weekenders. On the site never mind the rabbits its look out for deer! There is also a ski-slope and fishing lake No.2 is the overall friendliness of everybody, the whole weekend is like a party that everyone is invited to, and the finale is wild. There was a fancy dress party and a good 90% dressed up, and like I said everyone was at the same party, not just the odd group like some other weekenders. Dancing covered all genres, the big bonus was no SILC (but obviously only my opinion - and about 60% of attendees at some other events) I'm not directly comparing, I still enjoy all the other weekenders, but it was just a nice change to go somewhere different - so in this case well done Colin Shaul and MJRoc x such a friendly atmosphere at Warmwell. Some great workshops and a deluxe chalet. Building happy memories and being able to share them with friends made it a special weekend. The only Downside We Like Others Meet At the Smugglers inn At around Lunchtime the place looks great, Good location etc etc! our meals that were there so called gourmet type Burgers & Chips ! £32 for my pal & i its not the cost , the Quality was in all honesty was the worst burger & chips i have ever had in my whole existence! the bugers were dried up up same as the chips !after a journey down i was really looking forward to a nice lunch & drink like you DO! (Smugglers inn) you were a great Disappointment! Dave Wow! What a weekender! Had a marvellous time at the Warmwell dancing weekender in Dorset, sharing a luxury lodge with 3 friends and great to have a hot tub too! Phil. Just wanted to thank you for a great weekend at Warmwell. It was our first time and we really enjoyed ourselves. The accommodation was excellent and all the organisation was really appreciated We particularly liked the variety of dance classes which encompassed different styles - made a change form other weekenders which we have done which have only delivered modern jive classes On the music front we particularly liked John Dunlops sets on Fri and Sat evenings and would have liked to see either a longer Latin Jive set by Gazza or maybe one on another night as well as the Sunday night Thanks again Su. 1st Warmwell 2021... The enjoyment exceeded my expectations by a mile and believe me, my expectations were already high based on what I had already heard from other dancers. Your tribute on Sunday night was so welcome too. There were some tears that followed immediately after but then there was the joy of recollecting the wonderful times spent with our dear friends who are sadly no longer here. I can’t recall the last time I experienced such extremes of emotion, it was a truly special moment for many of us. Thank you for everything. Xx Sam |
