Just back from a fabulous Warmwell Weekender. Hard to beat such a fun weekender and even the constant rain couldn't dampen the spirits. Best turnout for the fancy dress that I can remember and congratulations to the Bullshit Ballet for finally toppling Newquay Jive from the top spot and securing the Buster's Trophy. Very worthy winners. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. :o) Massive thanks to Colin, Gazza, Nicky and Jim and all who helped to put on such a fantastic weekend of dancing and fun. John D
Just back from my first Warmwell and having been to many others, I can honestly say this is the BEST EVER WEEKENDER around! The difference is that the crew and organisers actually care about their dancers and the whole thing, they are friendly, dance with you and listen to what you have to say - unlike some other organisers. Nothing is too much to deal with and I think they catered for my needs as well as my friends who like different things. Do yourself a favour if you've never been and book for next year, I have!!! I would like to thank the lady who handed my purse into reception; it was not until I went for a massagé and looked for my purse did I realise that it was missing. I automatically thought that it had been stolen (naughty to think that straight away, but human I suppose). However, after looking everywhere and getting very stressed I went to reception AND there it was, I did ask if they had the name of the person who handed it in but they did not. I hope the person reads this message because I thank them sincerely. ;) Anne

Well what can I say, this event keeps getting better and better. The standard and range of classes was incredible and everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere in all three rooms was always electric. Hi Nicky, Colin, Gazza and ALL the friendly, helpful and exhausted crew!! Thanks you for a brilliant fun weekend. We had a riot! Isn't that what life's for?????????? It was my first MJ Roc weekender and certainly won't be my last. (Oh yes...you'll have to suffer more wacky fancy dress!) I will prioritize yours over any others. I was particularly impressed by the ongoing - no matter what hour it was - helpful and friendliness of ALL involved and manning stations and positions for the weekend to operate smoothly. Past experiences of weekend staff input have been very variable due to the mood, who else is around them (!!), whether they can be bothered and CERTAINLY wouldn't have come to the breakfast table to comment on our fancy dress!!! Thank you - it made us feel very much welcome and important being there. Nothing seemed to much trouble for any of you - from getting someone to mend the shower, letting us change behind the stage, tuning up our music, taking our photos, booking in a late massage but most of acknowledging us during the weekend in passing where ever we were - just that smile, 'Hi', nod, etc makes all the difference :) Loved meeting Denise and Lesley - my unknown lodge mates..........thanks for that bit of fate! how lucky we were to get on like we did and make that fancy dress entry......... I'm spreading the word...................and its lovely to have something in the south west area for us southerners! Hope you have recovered from EVERYTHING you did, Face Book shows it was another success for you. I hope you were able to enjoy some of it too? Until next time, a big Thank you again to you all. Home and need my bed after another top weekender courtesy of the MJ Roc Warmwell team, Colin,Nicky, Jim & Gazza! Great LODGE buddies - Adam & Hollie. The beautiful & talented Vikki Barnes, without who's help and professionalism our last class of the weekend, in particular, wouldn't have been such a success. We will use that concept idea again... even though it makes my brain hurt! Finally I'd like to thank all my dance & drinking partners over the weekend - I know I had hit the wall on Saturday night, but after strapping a fat one on Friday night followed by 9.30 class, I was knocking by midnight. Loved the people, the classes, the chance to dance with the Champs, the accommodation, the pool & the sauna (plus the rollerskating that Debbie Stephens & I discovered. Accomodation is great and everybody especially the crew, organisers, and the staff on site at Warmwell were all very friendly and welcoming which makes a change from other weekenders that we have attended recently. Fantastic location and very quiet and peaceful around the lodges. I hope to come again.

Hi Nicky, Colin, Gazza and ALL the friendly, helpful and exhausted crew!! Thanks you for a brilliant fun weekend. We had a riot! Isn't that what life's for?????????? It was my first MJ Roc weekender and certainly won't be my last. (Oh yes...you'll have to suffer more wacky fancy dress!) I will prioritize yours over any others. I was particularly impressed by the ongoing - no matter what hour it was - helpful and friendliness of ALL involved and manning stations and positions for the weekend to operate smoothly. Past experiences of weekend staff input have been very variable due to the mood, who else is around them (!!), whether they can be bothered and CERTAINLY wouldn't have come to the breakfast table to comment on our fancy dress!!! Thank you - it made us feel very much welcome and important being there. Nothing seemed to much trouble for any of you - from getting someone to mend the shower, letting us change behind the stage, tuning up our music, taking our photos, booking in a late massage but most of acknowledging us during the weekend in passing where ever we were - just that smile, 'Hi', nod, etc makes all the difference :) Loved meeting Denise and Lesley - my unknown lodge mates..........thanks for that bit of fate! how lucky we were to get on like we did and make that fancy dress entry......... I'm spreading the word...................and its lovely to have something in the south west area for us southerners! Hope you have recovered from EVERYTHING you did, Face Book shows it was another success for you. I hope you were able to enjoy some of it too? Until next time, a big Thank you again to you all. The beautiful & talented Vikki Barnes, without who's help and professionalism our last class of the weekend, in particular, wouldn't have been such a success. We will use that concept idea again... even though it makes my brain hurt! Finally I'd like to thank all my dance & drinking partners over the weekend - I know I had hit the wall on Saturday night, but after strapping a fat one on Friday night followed by 9.30 class, I was knocking by midnight. LOVED LOVED LOVED IT ALL!!!! Thank you all so very very much for a wonderful weekend, you all work so hard and it def shows. Such a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish. Loved the people, the classes, the chance to dance with the Champs, the accommodation, the pool & the sauna (plus the rollerskating that Debbie Stephens & I discovered. Accomodation is great and everybody especially the crew, organisers, and the staff on site at Warmwell were all very friendly and welcoming which makes a change from other weekenders that we have attended recently. Fantastic location and very quiet and peaceful around the lodges. I hope to come again.
