WRISTBANDS
You will be issued male/female/child wristbands according to your booking, and these must be worn at all times.
Checks will be at entrances to the complex.
Our team at Reception when you book in will personally put them on every individual (i.e. each member of your lodge/room) and you will have to show the wristbands to enter the main complex. This will ensure that no wristbands are lost or any misunderstandings.
If any wristbands are lost or damaged, this may result in a charge of £125 (Warmwell) and £195(BeachRoc). Should you require a replacement wristband, you must produce the old wristband.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Points to remember
* When arriving at our weekenders, males/females (children only @ warmwell only) will be issued with different coloured wristbands which will have to be worn at all times.
* If you damage your wristband, please bring it to reception or security for replacement. Without it you are unable to proceed into the venue.
If lost the cost of replacement is £125 (the price of the lowest accommodation price at the 2014 event) and your holiday insurance should be claimed for.
The reason is because people have passed wristbands to dancers not booked so they get in free and is totally out of order! They took advantage of then MJRoc easy going trusting procedures. While this happened back in 2011, fortunately these dancers were found then and ejected, this is sadly why MJRoc need to put these security measures into place.
MJRoc has the right to protect all dancers who paid to enjoy our events.
* The wristbands will be checked by our crew, teachers and security personnel throughout the weekender when entering the complex. However please note that if we hear of any person not booked into our lodges/rooms but staying there, security will remove those person/s. Our Public Liability Insurance covers only everyone registered who has booked. In addition the complex owners do not want "unpaid" guests on the premises.
* If you spot any one without one, please tell us at reception or security. Because as we look at it as well as our clients, they could be a free loader who has sneaked in through a "back door" and hasn't paid, whereas you have "paid" and we know you will not be happy about that! Please do not feel bad about reporting, it is always a possible risk when an unknown person in the the complex for personal property too.
In previous "early" years we caught a couple of dancers who when discovered stated. "Oh we don't have one (wristband) because we have brought a day pass". We have never sold Day Passes so these people were ejected and banned!
