KEYS
There are 2 keys per lodge. These will be handed out to whoever arrives first at the check in desk.
We understand there may be 3 sets of people in one lodge and sharing keys can be difficult, so, if this is the case, then we can arrange a 3rd key to be cut (deadline is Saturday 8th November 2014).
All female and male shared lodges will automatically have 3 keys.
We have always looked to streamlining the Key process and of course we are working in conjunction with Parkdean to ensure that all keys are returned (which often doesn't happen). This results in Parkdean having to change locks on lodges, which incurs a cost - which MJROC have to pay for.
Therefore, we have decided to take a £5 cash deposit for each key that is handed out.
You will therefore need to bring £5 cash to collect a key and you will be handed a receipt, which must not be lost as you will need this to claim your money back.
Getting your £5 cash deposit back.......
If you return your key during Reception hours (9.30am - 5.30pm on Sunday), the Parkdean receptionists will return your £5 cash.
If you are leaving on Sunday 30th November between 5.30pm - 1am, then you can drop your key and collect your £5 from the Bar.
If you are leaving on Monday, there will be someone on reception from 8am to give you your money back.
Don't forget if you're leaving but need to leave your key for your lodge mate, you can get them to return the key, but they could give you the money instead. This is the fairest way of ensuring Parkdean get all their keys back and that MJROC are not liable for any extra fees for lost keys.
Colin, Nicky or Gazza cannot personally take your keys and give you the £5 back.
Thank you for your cooperation.
