Joseph Sewell & Charlotte Middlemiss

Joseph is back! A long time teacher at the original Warmwell weekenders and is now back with MJROC alongside his new teaching partner Charlotte Middlemiss.
Known for his exciting and inspirational classes, Joseph is currently one of the UK’s leading swing dance teachers, choreographers, performers and avid social dancers of authentic swing dances, with a big passion for Lindy Hop. Teaching since 1996, his main focus is the Lindy Hop, Blues, 1920′s Charleston, Cake Walk, Snake Hips and Authentic Jazz touring all over the UK and Europe, offering musicality and styling for leaders and followers. Responsible for developing one of the youngest and most talented swing dance scenes in the UK, Joseph has trained a group of raw students, to teach and perform, where some have now gone on to perform, compete and teach internationally.
Charlotte teaches weekly Lindy Hop classes and workshops in Hertfordshire and the Middlesex/North London area, along with specialised workshops for schools and universities, but has also taught and performed for organisors at major events across the UK and abroad in Norway, Belgium, Germany, Prague, Slovenia, Israel and Switzerland over the last few years. At only 25, we think this makes her the UK’s youngest international teacher.
