James Mclauchlan
James Mclauchlan has been dancing for 14 years and since has become one of the most well known
and accomplished dancers on the circuit. He has trained in over 12 different dance styles including
Waltz, Cha Cha, Ballet, Jazz, Jive, East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, the list goes on. Still to this
day James competes all over the world at an advanced level. Here is a list of just some of the titles
he has won, Scotland, England, Ireland, Paris, Belgium, Sweden, New York, Washington and he has
also won 4 world titles. In 2005 James was lucky enough to be chosen form 80,000 people to take part in the hit TV show Strictly Dance Fever where he placed third with his Partner Claire Adam. Since then he has worked in many of the Jive events that are held throughout the UK, teaching classes which certainly break away from the norm. James is a great believer of the fun element of dance. He is always first on the floor when it comes to party dances, and his classes always make people smile whilst learning some great technique at the same time.
