Gender Balancing
We aim to provide dancers with the best dance weekender we can and this includes ensuring there are a good number of men for the ladies to dance with.
We therefore are not taking all female bookings without prior agreement (booking conditions apply) with the understanding you will promoting to men to book.
Bookings accepted are:
We have maintained a Gender Balance Ratio of 47-48% men to 52-53% females at all eight previous November Weekenders.
There are always concerns when large volume of booking request are for female only groups, because its rare for men to book male only large group, hence MJRoc's concerns of the ratio for the event.
Please be honest when making your booking as our Terms and Conditions state we require the full and correct names and gender of all those attending, plus we get a realistic picture of male/female ratio.
If a female books as a male and turn up as obviously a female, this booking will be void and NO refunds made, deceit is not acceptable and is considered a security issue.
