GENDER BALANCING
To ensure that everyone has a great time at Warmwell, we work very hard to ensure we have a very fair gender balance ratio of dancers, and as stated in our terms and conditions of booking, you must be truthful in booking the correct number of males/females. If you have a member of your party cancel, you must replace them with the same gender and inform MJRoc of the name change. If you wish to change a female place to male places, this maybe possible, but only on request.
If a lady turns up in place of a man, unfortunately she will be asked to leave with no refund. At our first event 26 ladies turned up having booked in as men, made a complete mess of gendering balancing and guess who got blamed!
Thank you for your understanding!
On a personal note to the men reading this! We know that you believe booking late, you'll get into the dance weekenders (not always the case in 2012 & 2013 events), but can we ask that if you do intend to book for the weekend, please do this as soon as you can as this allows us to let the ladies in! Our Warmwell November events sell out every year!
We believe that gender balancing should be managed in order to have an equal number of opportunities for everyone in the workshops and freestyles.
To try and achieve this, your booking may be required to have an equal number of men and women or even more men than ladies.
Inevitably, female places always tend to sell much faster than male places, so sadly even in the event of the weekender not selling out, we may still regretfully not accept female bookings, to protect the enjoyment of those already attending.
