MJRoc Warmwell - to us - isn't just about dance class after dance class, it's about a good old fashioned dance weekend with lots of social and fun events to keep us all entertained, which is why we put on some non-dancing events for you.
Ski Party! Saturday afternoon
Warmwell boasts a 110m ski slope, plus a teaching slope. We have secured a discount rate for any dancer who wants an hour's lesson, or alternatively you can just pay for an hour's ski session. The Ringos were an amazing hit in 2011, so we've got those again! We have our music blaring out, plus our very own MC giving a blow-by-blow account of people coming down the slope! Drinks and food are also available. It's a good distraction from dancing if you fancy doing something different.

Gazza hosts a General Knowledge quiz in the restaurant on Saturday evening. Get your team of 6 together and attend. Prizes for the winners. |
Dance with a Stranger Competition Saturday night
The rules are simple:
Book yourself a place Turn up on Saturday night Dance to a few tracks Hope to get through the finals! Will you get 1st, 2nd or 3rd?!?! Please note that we know Dan who came first with Linda is a dance teacher, he only entered to make up the numbers and help out, he didn't intend to win! However, we think Linda deserved the first place spot with her winning smile and energy. In future, no dance teachers will be able to enter the competition. |
Cabaret! Saturday night
We usually have at least 2-3 cabarets for you. These can be from some of our teachers or you - the dancers! it's all good fun and it's nice to see some showmanship.

Fancy Dress Sunday Night
2011's fancy dress night was even better than 2010's!! It amazes us at how much work goes into the costumes and we think it's great that everyone participates. The theme is anything goes, wear what you want
